It’s been a great month, actually a great year, and I know it’s about to get better!!!
It’s taken me a while, a few good markets, a few bad markets to realise that
Buy and Hold isn’t the ONLY way to go. It is and always has been part of a
But because some real estate agents have focussed solely
on Buy and Hold, they relate Selling Property to:
– paying too much in tax (capital gains, GST)
– being hard to find the next deal
– missing out on long term growth
Which in some instances have some truths in them. My GST bill on my current deal,
will be about $90,000, and I paid $216,000 in contributions.
But if you do it right, you can still MAKE A LOT OF MONEY.
